Employees need to be motivated in order to stay engaged in their workforce. One way to monitor employee performance is through the control function of management. Communicating the process of any change are done at the strategic level and the tactical level. Strategic level communicates the overall long term plan and the tactial level communicates the little individual tasks.

Some students want to achieve their goals for the personal satisfaction that they feel when they walk across the stage as their friends and family look on with approval. It is important not to lose sight of the motivation throughout the educational process.
Creating a support system can also promote success in learning. Students should discuss with their family and advisors about how they can be motivated when feeling discouraged. Students should also discuss their new time commitments and work out a schedule with their family, so that the family’s needs are not neglected (Atlantic, 2006). Opening the lines of communication about the obstacles and rewards of education will provide students and their families a smooth transition to the newly modified lifestyle.
