Why Medicine
I want to be able to help people while practicing and studying medicine. I believe health is one of the most important aspects of a persons life. If you are healthy you will be able to live an enjoyable life.
Why a scribe
Working in the Emergency Department as a scribe will give me invaluable medical experience. Being able to follow a physician through the process of seeing patients being admitted to tests being ordered and so on is a wonderful opportunity for me as a pre-health professional
Future Plans
I plan on applying to a physician assistant program next year. my top schools are Rutgers University PA program, Seton Hall and Salus University
A time I had to deal with conflict or a difficult group member
I have been in sitiuations in school where participating in a group project becomes necessary and sometimes one group member has a tendency to take the backdrop in terms of contributing to the group or on the opposite spectrum try to dictate every aspect. To resolve this , I try to initiate a group discussion where all members go around and contribute an idea and add on to other group members ideas. This was everyone will have a voice and everyone will have contributued.
