1) Using the words ‘true’, ‘false’, and ‘necessary’ or ‘impossible’ in your answer, explain what it
means for an argument to be valid.
ANSWER: The argument to be valid means that if all the premises are true (or were all true) then
it is necessary that conclusion to be true as well. Therefore, it is impossible for all the premises to
be true and conclusion to be false at same time.

2)Is it possible to have a valid argument with a false conclusion? Why or why not?
ANSWER: No, it is not possible to have a valid argument with false conclusion because for the
valid argument it is necessary for the conclusion to be true as if all premises are true. Having a
valid argument means that conclusion must be true.
