1. Describe how you searched for a resource that could inform you about your situation from Journal #1, and that can guide you in the future. I first searched using google scholar. I searched using the key words being bullied at work. After using my key phrase google gave suggestions on related searches. I was unable to use the suggested information from google. The information was either abstracts or products I had to purchase. My next search was to search scholarly articles on workplace bullying resources.

3. Identify evidence found in the resource that would help guide you toward better handling of a similar situation in the future. After reading the evidence provided I would respond to surveys about the work environment when available and read and understand the policy and procedures on bullying.
4. Describe in detail how information from the above resource and course materials might have changed the way you would have handled the situation to produce a better outcome. After reading all the long term effects of being bullied ex. psychological/emotional stress, job performance, health and attendance I would read the policy on bullying and speak with my manager or HR about the situation. If there is no policy in place, I could ask if we could create a committee and be a part of it. Having a policy would be a great resource and guide to anyone experiencing bullying. By doing so this may shed light on others in similar situations. This may even help the person who is doing the bullying by getting to the route of the cause. [Show Less]
