Key findings in the datauncovered that amongst all methods of trafficking reported, the highest was intimate partners andrecruitment by relatives, with a proportion of 4,142 victims enlisted by family members orguardians. This amount increased significantly from 21% of victimized individuals in the year2019 to a staggering 31% in 2020. That alarming percentage indicates that the data spiked to47%. In addition, the ratio drafted by intimate partners soared in 2019 from 21% to 22%, then in2020, it again rose to 27%. This intelligence accounts for 42% of victims made to traffick frommembers of their own family. However, 39% have been recruited through a marriage propositionor an intimate partner relationship.
