Topics to be considered (Again-Pick only one)
Gun Control is a hot topic in the United States. You will take two positions on the topic of Gun Control. The first position will be Pro-Gun Control and the other position will be Anti-Gun Control. You will document several reasons why some sort of gun control regulations should be in place in the United States and defend your reasons. You then will document several reasons why gun control should not be strictly regulated in the U.S. and also defend your reasoning regarding that position.
You are the Police Chief in a medium-sized city. In one residential neighborhood, citizens are alarmed (and complaining to city hall) because there has been a rash of burglaries. In the downtown area, an increase in muggings has the merchants concerned about losing business. At a city council meeting, representatives from both group ask you (the police chief) how you can adjust patrol strategies to address the problems in your area.
Preventive Patrol
Foot Patrol
Directed Patrol
Define each of the above listed patrol strategies. Document a minimum of 2-3 positives and negatives of each of the strategies. Finally, chose and defend your final choice regarding what type of patrol strategy from the above list you will implement to hopefully address and solve the citizen’s concerns and issues. [Show Less]
