1. DBW: 163 cm – 100 = 63 kg – 10% = 57 kg
2. Basal Needs: 0.9 x 57 kg (DBW) x 24 = 1231.2 kcal
3. Estimate Physical Activities: 1231.2 kcal x .50 = 615.6 kcal
4. TEA: 1231.2 kcal + 615.6 kcal = 1846.8 kcal
6. Carbohydrates: 1846.8 kcal x 0.65 = 1200.42 or 1200 kcal
Protein : 1846.8 kcal x 0.15 = 277.02 or 300 kcal
Fats : 1846.8 kcal x 0.20 = 369.36 or 350 kcal
7. Carbohydrates: 1200 kcal / 4 = 300 gms
Protein : 300 kcal / 4 = 75 gms
Fats : 350 kcal / 9 = 38.88 or 40 mgs
