controversial. The mother is expected to continue her duties as mother regardless of the life of
the child or her own. Women are always being told what is best for them when in reality, women
know what is best for themselves. Scenarios like these are constantly being overlooked in the
medical and Christian world when it comes to making the best decision for one’s own body. It is
imperative to understand the potential backlashes that can occur when women are misunderstood
and therefore misguided in the decision that they should take.
The Christian View
Throughout the beginning to end, all characters attempt to act out of love or care. The
