captopril should be taken 1 hr before meals, monitor BP,
monitor for angio edema and promptly administer
epinephrine 0.5 ml of 1:1000 solution sub q
slows movement of calcium into smooth muscle cells,
resulting in arterial dilation and decreased BP, examples
are nifedipine/adalat/procardia, verapamil/calan,
dilitiazem/cardizem, amlodipine/norvasc
