established standards of medical care and practice concerning access, quality, and cost. It shows
us the proposed regulations, including those that failed and those that managed to be perceived.
The health industry shows constant effective changes to provide quality medical care, hence the
importance of knowing the historical trends.
This trend analysis can be used in the performance of the health administrator because the
knowledge of the historical milestones that marked the events of each regularization put into force,

vision, optimizing human, technical and financial resources, leading the health institution to a state
of growth and efficiency. It allows identifying patterns that help improve access, quality, and costs.
Trends and Regulations.
Access, quality, and cost have gradually evolved in the United States. Health services are
mainly private and expensive. Its healthcare model is based on the free market, run entirely by
private companies backed by government networks (López et. al, 2021). At the beginning of the
19th century, the phenomenon of regulation was marked by the time interval between important
events. When analyzing these trends, the timelines represent the important events that occur. These
