Hi I'm Andy what brings you in today
Hello.
Event today (No matching questions found.)
What brings you in today
I'm here because I've got an awful
... [Show More] cough, a fever, and my chest feels like I've been
kicked by a horse. I'm sure this is some kind of upper respiratory infection. I was
hoping it would go away on its own, but it hasn't, so my husband Jeffrey convinced
me to come in. As amusing as it is for Jeffrey to serve me my meals, this has gone
on long enough. I need to feel better.
I am sorry to hear that you are in pain. Let's work on figuring out what is going on
so we can find you comfort and relief.
Well, that's very nice.
When did these symptoms start
Most of my symptoms started three days ago. I developed this nasty cough, and
my nose has been all stuffed up. That's also when the chest pain started, and when
I began to feel exhausted. The fever set in last night. That was the last straw, so
Jeffrey brought me in.

Does anything help your cough
Resting seems to help a little. Drinking tea or using my humidifier can ease the
scratchiness in my throat.
What makes your cough worse
My cough is bad enough with no help from me. It doesn't get worse. It stays
constantly terrible.
Are you in pain currently
I have some chest pain. It's more of a deep, dull pain, really. It's more or less
constant, but gets more severe when I cough. This started three days ago. The
cough and congestion began when the chest pain did, but I didn't start coughing
anything up until two days ago.
Makes your chest pain better (Clarified to What makes the chest pain better?.)
I took some aspirin last night. Jeffrey brought me some hot tea to help, and I used
my humidifier. I also took a hot shower, hoping that the hot steam would help. I
thought it would be good to just get all of this nasty mucus out, so I've been letting
myself cough this stuff up and blowing my nose to try and get my sinuses to drain.
(Clarified to what makes the chest pain better.)
Are you allergic to anything
No, I don't have allergies.
Are you allergic to any foods
I don't have any food allergies.
do have any medication allergies
I don't have any medication allergies.
do you have any environmental allergies
No environmental allergies here.
What's your medical history

How bad was your pain
I think that this cough is pretty severe. It brings my chest pain up from a 2 out of 10
to a 5 out of 10.
How high has your fever been
Last night, when I checked my fever, it was 100.1. I felt pretty terrible all day and

appointment here.
